Natalia Parshchyk

She was born on May 10, 1995, in Lviv. She studied at the Lviv Art College named after I. Trush, Department of Art Textiles. In 2015-2020, she studied at the Glass Art Department at the Lviv National Academy of Arts (MA). During the 2018/2019 semester, she studied at the E. Geppert Academy of Arts in Wroclaw based on the Erasmus+ student mobility program at the Glass art Department. From 2016-2020, she gave private lessons and taught painting and drawing in an art studio. She participated in a number of exhibitions, competitions and other art projects, including Nashi Project 2019, 2020 at LNAA Gallery, and European Glass Education International Residency, 11th International Blown Glass art Symposium in Lviv, etc. Also, she participated in the competition for the A. Bokotey Award for Young Glass Artists in 2018-2021. Since 2020, she has been working as a coordinator of art projects at Jam Factory Art Center public organization. The main areas she develops are painting, glass, and art video. She explores the combination of color, transparency and light through various mediums, addressing the topics of social inequality, finding a different, non-toxic interaction in society between nature, people and technology. She participates in volunteer activities related to social and environmental issues.
