Was born in 1985 in Lviv. He studied at the Lviv State College of Applied and Decorative Arts named after I. Trush (2004) and at Lviv National Academy of Arts (2010) in the workshop of Prof. A. Bokotey. Since 2015, he has been teaching at the Glass Art Department of LNAA, and in 2018, he started the postgraduate course obtaining his PhD in Fine Arts, Decorative Arts and Restoration. He is a participant of numerous regional and international art projects, including International Blown Glass Symposiums in Lviv (2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019). He has been working in the technique of fusing since 2008. While working on a piece of art, the author experiments with the texture and plasticity of the material. This gives him a certain freedom of movement, dynamics, and free expression of his own ideas. The material itself (glass) prompts the course of the artist’s action and figurative solution to embody his idea. The works of this artist are time crystallized in space, in transparency or reflection, in color or texture, in a light haze of glass or cracks in its texture, in polishing or grinding. They can be safely called painterly, and the glass further intensifies that multilayeredness of painting, revealing a different space, including the one in which the viewer is located. He also works in the field of art wood. He was a participant of the 2018-2020 Prof. Andriy Bokotey Award for Young Glass Artists competitions.
