Yulia Halyshyn

She was born in 1993 in the town of Drohobych, Lviv region. She studied at the Small Academy of Art named after Emmanuil Mysko. In 2016, she obtained her MA at the Glass Art Department (workshop of Prof. A. Bokotey for 2 years, 2012-2013), Lviv National Academy of Arts. Since 2015, she has been an active participant of exhibitions and group art projects in Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, including "Lviv through the eyes of young people" (Lviv, 2015), the exhibition of the best graduation works (LNAA Gallery, 2016), "Art Anthropology" project (LNAA Gallery, 2016), "Decorative Art of LNAA" (Lviv National Gallery named after Borys Voznytskyi, 2017). Participation in symposiums and plain airs, namely International Painting Competition on the occasion of Jeżów Days (Poland, Jeżów, 2009), International Stained Glass Symposium "KERAMIKA - SKLO - KOV" (Czech Republic, Svetlá nad Sázavou, 2013), 9th, 10th and 11th International Blown Glass Symposiums in Lviv (2013, 2016, 2019), as well as Professor Andriy Bokotey Award (Glass Museum in Lviv, 2018, 2020, 2021). Her works are collected by the Lviv National Academy of Arts, in private collections in Ukraine. She is the founder of the "Raido Glass Studio", in which she develops the author’s design products made of glass, as well as produces exclusive glassware. Also, she develops her creative skills actively, working mainly in the kilnforming technique.
